The following is a list of open positions at the independently operated ABC Behavior offices.  Each office is directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).  They lead close-knit teams of Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as they provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and families in their local communities. 

Front Office Assistant for ABC Behavior - Warrenton LOCATION

Our team at ABC Behavior is seeking a Front Office Assistant to join us. As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Front Office Assistant plays an essential role in ensuring a positive experience for our clients and their families. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, organized and possesses excellent communication skills. It is essential to take initiative and help wherever needed. This is an in-person position with occasional opportunities for remote work.

Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and visitors and provide exceptional customer service

- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner

- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for therapists and clients

- Verify insurance and assist with billing and payments

- Obtain health insurance authorizations for services

- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality

- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preference for experience with health insurance authorizations

- Strong understanding of insurance and billing processes

- Background check required

- Experience working in a medical or behavioral health setting

Salary Range: $40,000 to $60,000 dependent on experience and position fit

BCBA

ABC Behavior is searching for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to assist in the Centerville area working with children and young adults aged 2-20. ABC Behavior provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in various settings: home, social groups, and community outings. We are looking for a BCBA or BCaBA to join the clinical office located in Centreville, VA. You will supervise Behavior Technicians and conduct parent training while reporting to the clinical director. This is a full-time position.

BCBAs/BCaBAs needed for new Centreville clinic dedicated to train future BCBAs through MIND THE ACADEMIC GAP—a groundbreaking program addressing the range of real-world BCBA skills not taught in university ABA programs.

The position calls for/develops: flexibility, self-motivation, familiarity with Central Reach, team building, conflict-resolution skills, time-management, building/executing treatment plans, parent training, BT supervision, and occasional direct services.

On-site, not remote.

Starting salary: 110K with upward potential

Behavior Technician

The mission of the Behavior Technician is to diligently provide ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA to clients with autism or related special needs in order for the clients to achieve mastery of behavior treatment goals.  This requires compassion, a firm grasp of ABA, and professionalism. 

If you desire to help children with autism or special needs and want to build a career where you can serve others, and be well compensated, then ABC Behavior may be a great fit for you!

We provide free supervision and training for therapists interested in becoming BCBA-certified. We also provide competitive wages for ABA therapists. This position has flexible hours (part-time or full-time) and involves high levels of interaction with the client, the client’s family, other therapists, and your BCBA supervisor.

Requirements for the position include:

  • High School Diploma

  • Adult and Pediatric CPR/BLS Certification

  • Submitting to Background Checks and TB Screening

  • Additional educational requirements may apply for Medicaid/Humana service providers

  • 40-hour RBT course: We offer training and aid you in obtaining your RBT Certificate.

  • Part-time positions and their availability will be dependent upon your location, experience, and other factors. ABC Behavior also provides career growth opportunities with supervision and training for technicians interested in becoming BCBAs.
